After 10 years of holding back, we finally took the chance to spend a night at the «Gletschertor Riedgletscher». It’s a very special place but easy to reach by an idyllic 2 hour hike from Grächen. And it’s overwhelming not just during daytime but also when the sun sets and when the moonlight slowly starts to flood the moraine. That’s the moment you start wondering if you’re still on earth or maybe somewhere on the moon. There were even glowing beetles wandering around the campfire. No joke.
